Fichtel & Sachs at Schweinfurt was the mother company of Hercules, but they sold their two stroke motors to a lot of other manufacturers mainly in Italy. In the 90es first the “Hercules” brand was sold to a Dutch bicycle factory, after that the “Sachs Fahrzeug-und Motorentechnik” to Rob v.d.Linden, another Dutchman, owner of “winning wheels”.

Here we want to show “Gelaendesport” bikes with Sachs motors.

the Austrian KTM was availlable with 100 and 125 cc Sachs motor till about 1974.

This 50 cc watercooled KTM was ridden by ex Zündapp factory rider Peter Neumann at the ISDT 1978 Sweden

This 125 cc compted for the Dutch team at 1973 ISDT, Dalton/U.S.A. The bike is still in original conditions.

Gerhaard K. Knol used this  Monark 175 ISDT, . 1975 with  Sachs 1751/6A-motor from  1977 till  1983 in the Dutch junior championship

NAUDER, France

The french Sachs importer NAUDER built own enduro and MX models when Sachs retired from racing. The SN (Sachs Nauder) models were similar to the Hercules factory racers of the year 1978
